Big Ditch Lake

Big Ditch Lake

Big Ditch Lake is the centerpiece of the Big Ditch Lake Wildlife Management Area near Cowen, West Virginia.

The 55-acre pond provides a warm water fishery for black crappie, bluegill, carp, channel catfish, green sunfish, largemouth bass and tiger musky. It is part of the larger 380-acre reserve, which includes picnic facilities and a trail that encircles the Big Ditch Lake.
