Daylight Twin Arches

Daylight Twin Arches are twin sandstone shelters near Pine Island Double Falls within Kentucky’s Daniel Boone National Forest. The roadside arches are just some of the hundreds of natural sandstone arches in the Commonwealth, sculpted over millions of years by the forces of water and wind.

Daylight Twin Arch (West) is a sandstone shelter arch that is eight feet high and 21 feet wide.

Daylight Twin Arch (East)

Daylight Twin Arch (East) is a sandstone shelter arch that is six feet high and 29 feet wide.

From London, follow KY Route 192 west for 5.7 miles. Just past the junction for KY Route 552, turn right onto Line Creek Road, which turns into Forest Road 56. Follow west for 4.7 miles. Turn left onto Carson Ridge (Forest Road 119) and follow for 1 mile. The arches will be on the right.
