Rock River Falls

The Rock River Canyon Wilderness is centered upon the Rock River and Silver Creek as they meander through 150-foot-deep sandstone canyons which features Rock River Falls, a 15-foot cascade along the Rock River, Ginpole Lake, and the famed Eben ice caves.

As the waterfall is located in a wilderness, there are no official trail markers. From the trailhead along Forest Road 2293, a wide path descends south along an old roadbed to the bottom of a hill. An informal path continues along the bank of the river to Rock River Falls.
