Bay Brook Falls, a 25-foot slide waterfall, is located along the Northwest Bay Brook in the Lake George Wild Forest of the Adirondacks in New York.
Bay Brook Falls is a hidden gem that is often overlooked for larger, more showy gems in the Adirondacks. Although there are no formal trails to the top or base of the cascade, an informal trail leads west from the Clay Meadow parking area. A more rugged path, along the western slopes of Northwest Bay Brook, leads down to the base of the cascade.
The waterfall is located within the Lake George Wild Forest and is part of the Adirondack Forest Preserve. While it tends to be a popular destination because of its proximity to Lake George, parts of the wilderness, including Bay Brook Falls, can be a quiet refuge because of a lack of formal trails.
