Davis Memorial State Nature Preserve

The quaint nature reserve is of interest primarily to geologists and botanists as its located along a fault line, features dolomite cliffs, a small cave, and a wide-ranging collection of rare and common spring wildflowers.

The nature preserve was donated to the state of Ohio by Davon Inc. in honor of its chairman, Edwin H. Davis.

Resources

The preserve features two miles of trails which consist of loops and in-and-out trails along Cedar Fork.

From the junction of OH Route 32 and OH Route 41 in Peebles, follow OH Route 32 east for 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Steam Furnace Right and then left onto Davis Road. Follow for 2.8 miles. Turn right onto Davis Memorial. The trailhead parking area will be on the right.
