Seven Tubs

The unique Seven Tubs Recreation Area features seven distinct potholes along Wheelbarrow Run which were formed by flowing glacial meltwater that eroded the sandstone bedrock. The flows have also cut deep gorges out of the surrounding landscapes, leading to a unique landscape within the Pinchot State Forest.

The trail system at Seven Tubs includes a short loop trail that encircles the Wheelbarrow Run gorge and the Audubon Loop Trail that follows Laurel Run.

Audubon Loop Trail

The Audubon Loop Trail, formed by the Greater Wyoming Valley Audubon Society, is a 1.8-mile footpath that follows Laurel Run and through diverse woodlands.

Wheelbarrow Run Trail

The Wheelbarrow Run Trail is a .3 mile loop trail around the Wheelbarrow Run Gorge.
