Upper Wolf Creek Falls

Wolf Creek Falls

There are several cascading waterfalls along Wolf Creek within the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in West Virginia.

There are numerous cascades along Wolf Creek, some viewable from Fayette Station Road while others hidden from public view without having to endure a tough scramble down an unforgiving hillside.

The more visited of the two major waterfalls along Wolf Creek is an approximate 12-foot cascade along the north side of Fayette Station Road near the Kaymoor Trail bridge over Wolf Creek. A larger 15-foot block cascade is located along the south side of Fayette Station Road in the vicinity of the Kaymoor Trail terminus.

  • Lower Wolf Creek Falls is a 15-foot block cascade.
  • Upper Wolf Creek Falls is a 12-foot cascade.
