The Rock River Canyon Wilderness is centered upon the Rock River and Silver Creek as they meander through 150-foot-deep sandstone canyons which features Rock River Falls, a 15-foot cascade along the Rock River, Ginpole Lake, and the famed Eben ice caves.

From downtown Munising, follow MI Route 28 south. A small parking area is located on the east side of the roadway at the junction with MI Route 94.
