Deckertown Falls consists of a series of three visible waterfalls and several other hidden cascades within a narrow glen in the village of Montour Falls, New York.
During the last ice age, glaciers blanketed much of northern North America, scouring the land and sculpting much of the topography of the Finger Lakes region. The effects of the ice age left behind multiple waterfalls and cascades in the region, including Deckertown Falls.
From the parking area, a small footpath takes you past an old mill before ascending towards a view of Deckertown Falls, a set of three cascades that total more than 50 feet high. The trail continues informally up the hill towards the State Route 224 overpass where there are additional cascades in an ever-narrowing valley.
